Luxembourg participates in the Benelux Business Council’s Annual General Meeting
The Embassy of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Trade & Investment Office (LTIO) in Abu Dhabi participated in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Benelux Business Council (BBC), reaffirming Luxembourg’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and fostering business opportunities between Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, and the wider Benelux community.
Held under the Dutch Benelux Presidency at the Residence of H.E. Gerard Steeghs, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the UAE, the AGM brought together members, partners and representatives of the Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg business communities active in the UAE. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the Council’s achievements in 2025 and discuss priorities and initiatives for the future.
A key highlight of the AGM was the election and renewal of the BBC Board. Luxembourg is pleased to be represented on the Board and congratulates all newly elected and reappointed members. The Embassy and LTIO look forward to continuing their close cooperation with the Council in support of a dynamic and growing Benelux business network in the UAE.
Through its active engagement with the BBC, Luxembourg remains committed to promoting innovation, investment and sustainable economic partnerships, particularly in sectors where it offers recognised expertise and competitive strengths. The continued success of the Benelux Business Council reflects the strong spirit of collaboration that unites the Benelux business community to the UAE’s vibrant business environment.
