Traveling to Luxembourg

 

General Information:

All COVID-19 travel restrictions for travelers to Luxembourg have been lifted.

All passengers can enter the country without test, vaccination or recovery certificate and no document needs to be filled in.

There are currently no requirements in place, such as quarantine or health testing on arrival to Luxembourg.

Entry requirements for Luxembourg are the same for all travelers, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. It is not necessary to provide a vaccination status for entry to Luxembourg.

Traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE);

 

 

General Information:

 

Please note that actually the UAE Government and the Government of Dubai have announced that all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in the UAE, no test or vaccination is required.

Rules around masks are lifted in the UAE and wearing of facemasks  in public or social distancing measures are no longer mandatory.

It is not necessary to take a test before you fly to Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Tests on arrival are not required although it is possible to take an optional PCR test at Abu Dhabi or Dubai airport on demand.

No quarantine is required for travelers from Luxembourg to Abu Dhabi or Dubai regardless of vaccination status.

As rules can change very quickly, we advise those planning to travel to the UAE to consult official published guidelines, and to clarify requirements with your airline or travel provider.

In any case, Visitors to the United Arab Emirates are advised to keep themselves regularly informed of the situation on the ground, in particular by monitoring local news and consulting the websites and social networks of the Luxembourg Embassy in Abu Dhabi and are in all circumstances advised to follow the instructions of the local authorities.

Luxembourg visitors to the UAE are encouraged to register on the “Lëtzebuerger am Ausland” platform on MyGuichet, in order to guarantee a more efficient consular assistance.

 

Dubai

Passengers travelling to Dubai are no longer required to present a COVID‑19 vaccination certificate or perform PCR tests. 

Passengers travelling from or through Dubai are only required to comply with the transit requirements and travel requirements of their final destination. Any passenger travelling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi will need to comply with the Abu Dhabi guidelines.
