The Luxembourg Embassy in Abu Dhabi visited the Expo2020 Dubai site

On 8 April 2021 the team of the Luxembourg Embassy in Abu Dhabi visited the Expo2020 Dubai site and witnessed the great progress made as Luxembourg’s national pavilion is slowly taking shape.

The theme of the Luxembourg pavilion is "Resourceful Luxembourg" and its design is based on the idea of the Möbius ribbon, an infinite form, symbolizing the openness and the dynamism of the country. From the highest point of the pavilion, visitors will have the possibility to choose to descend to the ground floor via the stairs or a giant slide, a nod to the “Schueberfouer”. On the ground floor, they will discover the shop and the restaurant. The pavilion will have a width of 50 meters and a height of 21 meters. The gross constructed area will be 2.100m2 (13,900 m3) on a 3.500m2 site. With its 3 floors, the pavilion will have a capacity of 500 people.

Luxembourg was the very first country to formally sign the participation contract for Expo2020 Dubai and places great importance on worker safety and welfare during the construction phase.

The entire team is proud to be part of this unique project and is looking forward to welcome you in October! #LUinUAE
